Had a laser alert yesterday. About 5:15 PM I was on the was home in my wifes explorer. I had my BEL RX-65 low on the windshield. I received 2 laser alerts on a road I drive everyday. I can remember last year with the RX-65 in my Infiniti G35 recieving the same alert about the same time of year.
Shortly afterward I purchased the BEL STi and have had only 1 false laser alert while parked in front of a store with a bright red neon sign and this was repeatable.
Could it be possible that I am receiving the laser alert being cause by the reflection or refraction of the sun through the windshield. Of course today it is raining and I have my G. BTW I had my G on Tuesday and didn't have the laser alert.
ALso there were no LEOs in site. The area is adjacent to an airport, although this section of road has trees on both sides but is also in the area of 2 airport test radars operating between 2700 - 2900 MHz. The radars should have no affect on the laser detection.
