same, 10-15 over for the most part
I'm with you, tend to go 10-15 over on the highway. Not really more than 5 over or so on regular surface streets.
Me too. The local usually give a 5-9mph lead on highway so 10-15 over would be a # I’m comfortable with. Around town i don’t do much over 5.
However I have been known to do 120-30 in the right conditions highway.
Well that changes by so many things: Time of day, who I am with, what countermeasures I have, where I am, the weather, am I on the bike or car etc etc etc...
For example last week it was extremely nice out here (lows in the 60's at night). So I took the bike out from 1:30AM~3:00AM, and the fastest I went was 40MPH. (NOT 40MPH over, just plain old 40MPH). Most of that time I was going ~25MPH. I love to just cruise on rural roads.
Usually 10+ on main city roads, and 15+ on a highway.
depend son time and mode of transportation... in the car with the V1, i cofortable with 10-15 over... on the hayabusa... i'll regularly do 15-20 over... sometime up to 30 over on long stretches of interstate
In Chicago driving the flow of traffic on almost any highway is +15, so I try to beat them by 5-10.
Most of the time, 10-20 over.
I'm almost always 20 over unless traffic is too tight. If conditions are good I'll run 25 over and if I really know the road and it's protected I'll run 50 to 60 over.
