This happened yesterday, but things were so hectic at work that I didn't have time to post it....
yesterday, I was driving into work, approaching the Portsmouth traffic circle, and preparing myself for the expected 4 Bogey false alarm caused by the state liquor store
My V1 starts alerting on K band, a one bogey alert, quickly ramping up to a 4 dot alert, while I'm merging into traffic, it usually falses right under the overpass, much closer to the liquor store, but it was alerting a good deal sooner than expected....
turns out, there was an Eliot, Maine cruiser in the northbound lane heading towards me running CO K-band, no doubt using the false alarm area as a mask....
he passed me, and the arrows went to Behind, and then started counting up the additional 4 bogeys at the liquor store ahead....
after going around the traffic circle, and onto the Rte 1 bypass, once again, I prepared myself for the expected 3 bogey falses caused by the motels and car dealerships
the V1 counted up to four bogeys, as I passed the false zone, the counter fell to one bogey, ahead, staying steady at 4-5 dots of signal
three cars ahead was another police cruiser, running CO K-band.....
I have no idea why they were running K-band yesterday, but I'm glad I didn't ignore it
