Gave my 940 to my 70 year old mom for Mothers Day

My lead footed Mom had 3 nice saves from the old 940 today. One was Ka from 1.0 miles out around a curve to the left.

She was thrilled.....Never too old to enjoy the benefits of the old s7 940. She also learned never to go over PSL when your the only one on the road. Got blasted with Ka IO twice as well while following my advice not to haul butt without a rabbit.

lol thats funny! my mom got a ticket about a month ago and she drives pretty fast but hates the noise of the v1...so im trying to convince her to get a 9500i..or 9500ci :twisted:

My woman wants my SRX when I finally get the 9500ci. She liked using it when I went out of town. I set her up with only laser and KA, since she hates false alerts and 99+% of all my real LEO encounters are Ka, the few left are K and laser. Trying to get her to understand that some LEOs do run K doesn't seem to compute, since every time she hears it goes off on K band, it's a Rite-Aid or something. I am not buying her a 9500ci, since it would be worth more that her oldass Taurus! What's the point?

My mother won't use a rd when she drives alone but when I am w/ her, the BelEscort gets used. So she doesn't get annoyed, I select automute and if it's an Escort product, I make sure it's in standard mode and NOT loud mode and the volume is turned somewhat down.

also, both my grandmother and my mother are interested in my rd.
my grandmother is kind of weird. she smiles innocently and is like, 'out to break the law again?' but then when we are driving together if it ever goes off she is looking all over 'WERE IS THE COP!!' and like i've been IO maybe 4 or 5 times in my life and 2 of the times where on one trip with her and she looked at me after the second IO shot and went, "wtf is wrong with your thing here?"
Mom looked at it when i first bought it and said, 'wow you got a good one there!' and I kind of looked at her surprised and then I said, 'you know about rd? i know you owned a mechanic shop...' and then she just laughed and said, 'nope. no idea. i just know that when you buy something you usually always get near the best quality they make of whatever you get.' she is always playing mind games with me and is smart like that sometimes.
