The best place, I have ever found to hide a RD and never have seen it posted here. Is called a tempo tissue holder. It is wide and will fit almost any brand unit.

What does it look like? Picture???
I like it. The only thing is that it suffers the same problems that a visor mount would, which is that the visor is basically unusable.
Still might get one when I need more stealth than I have now.
