If the falses aren't too bad keep it on departments are bringing back X-band guns cause they know detector users turn it off
Try to keep the X band on and switch to city if theres too much falses. Like crazyVOLVOrob said the cops seems to be bringin this old technology back because most of the RD users are turning it off. Sometimes we see people say : ive been caught today but my %/$%?&* RD never gone off :P X band may be the reason for this 8)

an unmarked NYPD crown vic passed by me with instant-on ka band...the rx65 doesnt make a solid tone just rapid beeps right?
