Didn't claim that you couldn't detect us. And if it slowed you down GOOD! Mission accomplished.

But if I hit the trigger on you, you will get stopped. I beleive you've just been lucky.......

I have a RD so when a LEO shoots me with his I/O i can get the jump and quickly accelerate to about 160mph and get off the next exit.

    Works every time.

Actually i use my RD for the safety of all Officers. If they leave on there radar i will be warned that they are up ahead with someone pulled over. I will now be more alert and slow down, but so will the people behind me. This helps prevent road side accidents with traffic enforcement.

-To embrace technology is not to blindly accept it. We must always question technology but never be afraid to use it.
-No one detector is perfect for everyone. And the one you don’t like may be perfect for someone else.

What you fail to realize is this: If you left your Radar gun on you could effectively slow down RD users for a longer period of time, then your instant-on bursts.

Lets say person 'A' is speeding with a high-end radar detector on the NYSThruway. They are going 78 in a 65. Flow of traffic is normally around 75MPH. If you leave your radar gun constant-on, and the person picks you up from a 1.5miles away: You have effectively slowed that driver down for 1.5miles (giving them time to slow down gradually and move over slowly), and made him/her alert (aware) to a possible situation on a road ahead.

On the other hand: You can use instant on where you do not slow them down until the last instance: They will hit their brakes more aggressively. (creating a dangerous situation because of your instant on blast). You can either ticket them, which again there really is no proof that they won't speed right back up after that...

Basically the use of Instant-On is for the sole purpose of money making, it does not slow people down for any period of time, which should be your main goal in safety enforcement.
