Default Im thinking about turning X-BAND back on.

I have my x band turned off on my x-50 and it has not affected me for six months. I have been reading some forums saying how X-BAND pop up in their neighborhood without any reason. I f program it on and turnit to autoscan mode will i be fine.

As long as its on you will be protected. Autoscan does keep it a little more quiter. Other option is turning it down a tad in city mode...its up to you.

I've had X-band off in the DFW area for 4 yrs...no problems yet.

I was talking to a guy at work and he said that he's seen a brief x-band hit just before being hit with instant on Ka band before. (uses an S2) Is this true??
