I say definitely. The extra sensitivity alone is worth the extra money, not to mention the GPS based auto mode.
well see i dont really care about the features what mainly concerns me is the range, and it more expensive then the x50, is the x50 and the 9500i any close

to much money, the price range is 300-320
X2, there are 3 windshield mount RDs that are significantly better than the X50, and they are the V1, STi and 9500i. If you are not going to use the Truelock(and I'm not sure why you wouldn't), then the V1 is the best choice.

Your not a dumbass... Maybe not seing the posable benafits but certanley not a dumbass.
Dont forget:
Auto mode
speed read out
marking speed traps
voice alert
In any case if you want to save the $$$ get the X50, i bet the next GOL test the X50 has about the range of the 9500I any way.
