x50 or a pro 78 for a good solid backup

hey i just purchase an rx65 and its soon to arrive today i cant wait, i couldnt even sleep lol, but now i want a good soid detector for a backup, im either going to go with the x50 or a pro 78 i dont now whichmaybe u guys could help me out

If you like the red display go with the X50
If you like the blue display and auto dim, go with the Pro78

a backup! lmao just use ur rx-65 dont worry about a backup right away...i had a v1 for a year and then decided to get an STi because i was going to be in canada and VA a lot this summer..but just use the rx-65

the reason for the backup is if something ever happens to my rx65 and i have to send it in for repair or anything like that i dont want to be naked, cause its killing me ive been naked this past week in a half

Both are very good on Ka band. In fact, the Pro78 is the only other RD other than a Bel, Escort or V1 which I have complete confidence in with regards to detecting Ka radar.

I was in the same boat...but wanting a backup detector to my Escort 8500 (original) so I went with the PRO-78 because of features, low cost and awesome customer service (thanks to Mike B.)

With that said, my Escort hasn't been used since!!!!
