why do i have many false pops with my x50??
Best guess is escort still doesnt know how to determine stray radar from POP. I do not get false POP on my escort... Im still thinking they fixed it and didnt go public about it. So ssome false, and others wont. Some people say they just bought their X50, but keep in mind- how long do you think it was sitting at a warehouse.

Nobody has publicy announced that they fixed it. I just find it odd my older x50 had mad pop problems and my newer one doesnt.
did you just buy a new one, or did you have it replaced via warranty
Isn't there a way to tell what software version your detectors have, so as to allow you to compare? I guess this is a dumb question since you probably would have thought of this already, but just in case...

If you as the company about what version you have and submit a serial code they might tell you..
Some detectors will even tell you on their display if you push the right buttons. I believe the V-1 does this.. :wink:
