    things I have found wrong...

Recent court decisions have stated that laser tracking may not be used past a thousand feet but the results at a quarter mile are included as they serve to illustrate advance warning capabilities of the units tested
as we all know this is not true and I'm going to write them so every billy bob in the world will know the truth. man that ticks me off they put that!

The BEL Vector 995 and Escort Passport 8500 X50 detectors, when equipped with their optional front and rear integrated laser blocking/shifting packages ($500 including professional installation)
Ummm, unless he's on the black market (ebay) which means if you buy these x50 + shifter you are not getting any warranty. So x50(250), shifter (325), install (150 avg according to them)...uhhh 500????

    - V1 - Con - Lacks integrated laser jamming capabilities
No need to reinvent the wheel. Unless V1 wants to do the R&D on something that is better than the Blinder how in the heck is this a con?

I'll read the rest this afternoon I just skimmed so far I'm going to have a great write in to the editor!

IMHO some of these tests make too big of a deal over "integrated jamming capability". Sure, you can integrate it with your detector, but what real advantage does that give?

In the cases where integration is possible, I believe the jammers leave you less protected than other units that are available. I would choose better protection over integration capability any day.

To be fair, and so radarboy does not whine, I'll go ahead and state right now.

THIS TEST IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY MEANINGLESS

I thought that the difference between the red and blue display was that one had a red display and other had blue. If that's the case then why the extra $40?
