New to the Forum

Hello Everyone!

I'm new to the forum and wanted to say Hello.

My first detector was one from Radio Shack(Micronta?) Mid-80's - looked like a Passport(wish I could remember the part #.

I've been hooked ever sense

Welcome - check out MEM-TEK's collection of Radar Detectors - I have seen some old timers I used to use as well. Ask questions, we'll try to help with anything!

Hi RoadCourseRacer! Welcome to the world of radar detector and laser jammer fanatics. Our wives and girlfriends privately think that, with regards to our radar and laser countermeasure toys, we all are insane and should be committed.

I wonder if your first RD was the Micronta Road Patrol XK Model 22-1617? I used one of these for around two years. There is a link to my vintage RD collection in my sig.
