Default Leo using a Rd in his patrol car

What is up with that? I was on my way to work this morning and pulled up to redlight and looked over at a cop and he had what looked like a Vector RD mounted to his windshield!!Why on earth would he need a rd?

Exactly correct. He's going out of his way to attempt to beat RD users.

Damn I would of never thought about a LEO doing that. I guess some of them must have been perusing through this forum. You can never put anything pass them.

    Completely agree.

If I was a LEO, I would sit right behind one of those lighted orange construction signs entering a construction zone. You could rape people, especially in PA, where they seem to line I-80. I know my $30 Whistler would pick up on them. Without a bogey counter, you are done.

(Sorry for giving them ideas, but you should have splurged and gotten something with a counter on it....)

Or, if you have a 9500i or 9500ci and the speed sign is locked out, you will get an alert where it's always quiet. Also, with any of the Belscort RDs that have spec mode, the frequency will probably be different. I smoked a K band speed trap out exactly like this, with my SRX!
