rx65 or Brand X??
I was about to get a bel pro rx65 from Roy then started wondering...maybe I should wait till 06 to check out this "Brand X". What do you all thing? I'm not in a particular rush. I have the x50 in my daily-driver and I would rather have the voice alerts, so I was gonna put the the x50 in my other car and the rx65 in my daily-driver.

Brand X is just a lot of HOT AIR from Belscort the KINGS of BS.

By the time you wait to buy brand X you will probably get a speeding ticket in the process of waiting because you have no protection.
I'd get an escort X50 over an RX65 and a V1 over both of them.

X50 over RX65 and V1 if you nothing but HWY. X50 over V1 if you do more city......
according to test though the X50 is up there with V1, so either way its up to you. V1 does have a huge advantage on laser detection than any other.
The newest 3.825 version of the V1 doesn't false that much anymore. I recommend the V1 even if you drive in the city now. It falses just as much as the X50 and sometimes it's even less I've noticed.

You have me beat. There is to many versions of V1 I lost track. I have never owned a V1 but I have used one and I do admit it is a little old.The newest 3.825 version of the V1 doesn't false that much anymore. I recommend the V1 even if you drive in the city now. What's old? YOu don't like the cosmetics of the unit? I don't even look at my V1 because it's semi-hidden. I also don't know what the big deal is with the different bands not having seperate LED colors. If you drive with a radar detector you know what sound corresponds with what band.You have me beat.
