Default Silver a good color for laser?

Hey everyone, my red bonni just bit the dust last sat, and I am looking for a new car. I am curious to know if the silver is an easy color to get laser readings from. I assume yes, but If I have a blinder- is it possible for them to still get a reading?

Long story short, I took the car in for a problem to be fixed, they didnt fix the problem. I got on the highway and threw a rod & my engine is gone.

It would be a 2000-2004 cavaleir or one of the COBALTS.

Do you think the shop contributed to the problem by something they did or did not do that you paid for?

On the color/make of car, why not go for the Cobalt and ask the dealer if he can get it in COBALT BLUE?

Not intended to be a joke, but I think COBALT blue is a fairly dark blue.

Depending on how bright/light the silver is it could be an Achilles heel against LIDAR.

Well looking at the cobalt blue, it is so dark of a blue it looks purple. & i would not have to clerify to all my friends which color it is when I roll in I am not a big fan of the cobalts, I think the back looks to boxy. I LOVED the older cavaliers, their body design was fantastic. & yes, the shop is responsible for destroying my car, but I don't believe I can truely prove that in court.

What I am truely worried about the cobalt are the lights. I will be buying a blinder, but I still believe the lights are so big that cops will be able to get a reading.

Don't cut your own wrist on that. If you have receipts and anything else that shows you put your trust in them to perform a service and the end result is "blown engine" you may have a case.

Are you looking for some solid wheels or just something to beat around in?
Of course I'd recommend something in the Nissan family.

    What year was your bon?

That Cobalt looks sweet. Just get some Veil along with the Blinder.

Well, I am not looking for a car to last me until I start to get old & my skin starts to crack, but I am a pizza boy so I see about 300 miles of road every weekend. I commute to college, but I will be living there net year. So I want a reliable car, & I like the cavaliers not only because of the price tag, but I love the older body designs.

I feel ya. I used to like the '76/77 Pontiac GP. I grew out of it. How late a model are you looking for? I'm no car salesman, but I know a li'l bit about 'em.
