    Default Question about POP

I was driving home tonight with a couple cars on the road and I was coming to a light. All of a sudden my x50 goes wild for a second and screams POP at me. Does POP ever false? Or is it always almost always a true signal?

Most people on this board turn POP mode OFF because it falses all the darn time.

Yeah. I get POP falses all the time. The only real one I got was actually a Ka.

but if I know for a fact that police officers use it in my local traveling towns.. isn't it worth keeping on? Or will regular KA band pick it up?

turn it off. You have a better chance of spending one night with Jessica Simpson than getting hit with POP

Not likely, if they have BEE IIIs or Z series guns in your location.

And given THAT choice, I'll take getting hit with POP over getting within lidar range of Jessica... :P

cops cannot give you a ticket based on just their POP guns.

They aren't supposed to, but that doesn't mean no one ever will. It can and does happen.

As for * Simpson, it's time for Blinder or Lidatek to develop a talentless bimbo jammer.

The cops can do whatever they want. I once saw a cop watching a busy train crossing waiting for the arms to go down and then catch someone that ran the gates. The guy right in front of me ran the gates, and then to my amazement, the cop runs the gates to catch him, and almost gets hit. What a sheepdip!
