    Default Future of Speed detection.

Radar Detection has come along way from the orginal Escort and other early products. I wonder what the future is for speed detection? We have all witness the lethal use of LIDAR on the roads. And how our beloved RDs won't help you 99% of the time when dealing with laser. What is the next technology in cat and mouse game? Do you ever think RDs will become useless? Anyway, feel free to weigh in on this.

They aren't totally ineffective YET but it's getting worse by the day. The bass-turdz that collect taxes are sooooooooooo picky about when they pull the trigger you rarely get a heads up anymore.

I was running north on I-35 (north of Wichita) yesterday. There were 5 or 6 cars running my front door the farthest being about a mile ahead the nearest being about 200 yards. I had been following this line of traffic for several miles. I was running about 85-90 mph. As I came over a slight rise in the highway ther was the Bogeyman!!! About 1/4 mile in the oncoming lane in my face. I braked HARD and my new V1 never went off but I saw him raise his arm up through in his cruiser.

I hadn't gone another 1/4 and was just about to hit resume when there was another. The V1 went off full tilt on Ka. I was only doing 71 mph. But I think the first officer radioed back to him about me.

The only thing that saved my a$$ on that encounter was my eyes and quick reaction. No RD would've done me any good in that instance. I'm just puzzled why they hadn't shot anyone for the miles prior to seeing me.

They are really getting very conservative about how much they trigger their radars. I'm sure it's to keep RD users from getting alerts.

What some whiz needs to invent is NOT a radar detector but a COP DETECTOR! Maybe some super electronic olfactory sensor that could sniff a donut up to a couple miles away.

    valentine one dounut locator!

multi dounut counter, does dubble digits for big bag of 10!

dounut band, what type jam, ring , sugar etc

dounut strengh meter, how far away the dounut is.

also tells you if they are hot or cold.

and the exact location of every dounut, so you can shrug of a non threatning kid eating dounuts!
