You will be pretty disappointed by your 9500i's performance once you get used to the 9500ci. Trust me. The 9500ci will drive you batty the first couple of days however, due to all the false alerts. At least, these things are true for me.

In my country pink color takes its name from the flower. I'm sure you know already what kind of flower So I simply made translation of this word and... here we have this beautifull combination of accident and my poor english
But I'm sure you're smart enough to understand my intention PURPLE-PINK, or... whatever... Jeeezzzzzsssssss!

Hey don't worry about it - your English is much better than my Spanish! None of are criticizing you for it, it just made a few of us smile in a nice way. We can always use more smiling on this board.

What about aftermarket windshields? Have they been tested? Any particular ones to look out for? Not a single one of my vehicles still has its original windshield, and most get replaced on a regular basis thanks to pebbles, etc.

I'm not aware of any aftermarket windscreens that are Athermic. Some enthusiasts in the past have had similar accidents with pebbles which required the windscreen to be replaced. As a side effect, they noticed an improvement in the detection range.
