Tonight I was on PR highway 22 doing 85 on a 65 zone. A Porche (seems to be a GT3) past me at more than 100. We were very close to one of the favorite speed traps in the area, a deadly combination of a hill and a curb. Even thought the opposite lanes are divided there is an access at the top of the hill. When you reach the top of this hill and curb combination usually there will be a LEO waiting for you. Usually they operate on constant mode, but tonight they were operating on instant-on. I was using my RX65 and got a brief Ka 1 warning. When I reached the top of the hill I saw the Porche stopping and the LEO crossing the highway and the chase was on. I tell you the encounter was scary, I saw the LEO strobes before the RX gets the Ka 1. Can’t say if the LEO was with the strobes on and the Porche didn’t notice them. But I can tell you for sure that the rabbit saved my night.
