Since auto door openers set off K and X band alerts, could somebody use one of those in your car to set off alerts on those passing by you as you are driving?
And why exactly would you want to do this? There is enough crap ou there running on police radar frequencies causing all kinds of flasing. This is something I would not reccommend. I hope I didn't offend you but it just isn't the thing to do.

yes it would work...but only within 100 mtrs or so...unless there was a trimpot inside to crank up.

Probably no. I dont think someone would go that far to harass people with RD's.
Why would other detector users want to set off other peoples detectors.....You will begin to make them use less....please guys no more messing with detector users if i knew you were messing with me I would right down your plate and report you for reckless driving...this stuff really pisses me off
we should be reversing it around and messing with the speed traps!
I should get me one of these!!
