    Question The RD quick hid

I am yet to buy a high quality RD. Although they are legal in Ga, it is a well known fact that cops will not give speeders ,that use detectors, a warning. I want one that is difficult to see, and easy to hid, in the event of being pulled over. What is the best detector, and mount method for this purpose? I know that remote detectors can be used but they are waaay to expensive.

If you have a good detector, and use your head, you won't need a warning. V1 mounted high and they'll never see ya coming!!

One of the best ways, like the other poster said mount it high and then have your back window tinted so it can not been seen from behind.

I have mine low left side of the windshield, so if a cop wants to pull me over I can grab it quick off the windshield and put it under the seat. It really only can be seen if a cop pulls up next to my drivers side window, but chances are I would not be speeding with a cop next to me, it can not been seen from behind.

I have my RD suction cupped on the windshield above the mirror. I noticed that the cups are highly visible. I did something a little weird, I sprayed a light coat of flat black paint on the outside to hide the cups and a little on the other side of the mirror so it looks like a solid overhead console sighting it from behind. Eventually I'll put limo black tinting there.

I think painting your windshield is extreme. I have an idea what about one of those sponsor type stickers that go on the outside top of your windshield.

The paint is temporary until I get around finding a scrap piece of limo black tinting.

Um, that would be NOT a fact. Every cop, everyday can be different.

I know for a fact that it is a unwritten policy in Coweta County Georgia, but you are correct, everyday and every cop can be different.
