That link was a hoot to read. What is sad is how rude those cops were to the poster and that they banned him for politely asking a simple question. Yet they offered nothing except several rude replies. A couple of their choice comments:

"I have it on excellent authoritay that the band in use in Ohio is the newest "F" & "U" band." If I said F U to a cop then I am sure that I would wind up at the hospital before being taken to jail.

"I am sure you can find some pansy, anti-LE, pro-speeding site and ask some weed-smoking, law-breakers and get some VERY reliable information." Hmm...I guess all of us are drug addicts!

"I love radar detectors too. Radar detector = automatic ticket." That is showing prejudice.

Hmm...I am glad that we have a forum which has a ton of forum members who are both courteous and helpful. Its all of us who make this forum such a good place.

From my experience at lot of PO are dicks. Usually the younger they are the worse they are. Its usually the older ones who are much cooler.

I have met a lot of really cool cops. Yet I agree that older cops generally are more friendly. Take Roy for example. He is one of the coolest and funniest ex-cops which I have ever met!
