    Default Trinity Database

Does anyone know if there is a website for the Trinity Database that gives info on locations in the systems?

I believe that's like Top Secret info.

Yeah it would be nice to know how "updated" it is by being able to see if the local traffic cams in your area are on it or not.

I have done some searching and come up with the cheetahusa.com site for most of the results. Does Cheetah own the trinity database?

I have noticed in my limited use of the 9500ix that every intersection with a cam I've come across alerts ... however, there are more than a few where 1) There is no camera at the intersection, and 2) The actual GPS coordinates are slightly off.

Apparently the Trinity database includes all current and planned intersections for RLCs and speed cameras.

I'm relatively new to the Trinity database (9500CI) and my experience is limited to the Chicago area, but it's not proven to be as reliable as the database I download from POI Factory for my Garmin. Around here, Trinity still alerts at red light camera locations where the cameras were removed months ago. The POI Factory database is updated weekly, which is an advantage. However, I'm sure the Trinity folks would claim that their collection method is better.

I just send an email to cameras@speedcheetah.com and the error is corrected in the next edition.
