    wont it give away if we connect the wire from the cigarette lighter to the visor or is it assumed that we have an alternate source such as hard wiring the detector?

    It is designed to be used with a hardwire kit.

    Yes. Hardwire it. Vehicles with the fancy rear-view mirrors or sunroofs generally have a wire that you can tap into for power up under the head liner at the top of the windshield. If not, you'll need a longer wire that you would tuck into the trim around the windshield -- from near the RVM, along the top to the side, down the side and into the dash. You should be able to find a suitable power wire behind the dash. Fuse boxes usually have an empty slot or two that will be suitable.

    LOL King Ralph! I love that guy! It is so bad he retired...

    From thenewspaper:
    Alberta Premier Runs Red Light During Photo Op
    Alberta, Canada Premier Ralph Klein runs a red light as he demonstrates the fuel efficiency of the Smart Car.

    Premier Ralph Klein, the top elected official in Alberta, Canada, was caught running a red light during a photo opportunity intended to demonstrate the fuel efficiency of the Smart Car. Klein blasted through a red light as he drove from Government House to the Legislature.

    "Unfortunately I was so enthralled with the car that I went through a pink light -- you know, that sort of yellow and red?" he said to the Edmonton Sun. Sun photographers were stopped at the light on 116 Street when the Premier blew past. The intersection is equipped with a red light camera, but it photographs drivers only from the south. Klein's car was eastbound.

    Klein said he was not elected on his driving skills.
    [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralph_Klein]Ralph Klein - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]
    Klein made national headlines again as environment minister when he flipped off an environmental activist who was protesting the government's decision to allow a dam to be constructed on the Oldman River. Klein defended his actions by noting that it was the protester who made the offensive gesture first.
    A supporter of Klein's later purchased the rights to the only still photograph taken of Klein with his middle finger raised, presumably to prevent his opponents from being able to legally publish or display it.
    On March 1, 2006, Klein got into trouble for exclaiming "I don't need this crap" and throwing the Liberal health care policy book at a page during question period in the Alberta legislature.[10] The same booklet later sold on eBay for a reported $1,400, signed by Alberta's Liberal Leader Kevin Taft, with the caption, "Policy on the fly".[11] Earlier in the question period he also had to apologize for calling Liberal leader Kevin Taft a liar on the floor of the legislature, which is considered unparliamentary language. His apology consisted of saying, "Sorry, Mr. Speaker. I won't use the word 'fib.' I'll say that he doesn't tell the whole truth all the time - most of the time."[12][13]
    During a charity roast on November 9, 2006 Klein made a lewd joke at the expense of former Conservative Member of Parliament Belinda Stronach: "I wasn't surprised that she crossed over to the Liberals. I don't think she ever did have a Conservative bone in her body. Well, maybe one." (Referring to Peter MacKay, her former boyfriend, who is a member of the Conservative Party of Canada.) Klein refused to apologize for the remark stating that "a roast is a roast is a roast is a roast", while his spokesman pointed out that "Ms. Stronach roasted the premier two years ago and made remarks about his weight, his clothing and even his flatulence".[14]

    Hi Everybody, I just got my Sun Visor in and wanted to let you know that the V1 does fit very nice. I will warn you that the color I ordered, (tan) is actually a chocolate brown with black trim.

    It seems like it is made for the V1, the STI is loose, probably have to put something else in it to tighten it up so it does not fall out, or of course close it up and hope the velcro keeps it in.

    Shodan how is the volume of your V1 in the pouch when you are driving, does it seem lower to you?
