Barely ok, might be better than a current Cobra LOL. Honestly, I would not feel safe driving with it. Esp with I/O being so deadly.

I have had it for 10 years, and is still in good shape.
Didn't want to spend 400.00 on a new one.
Bel will allow $50.00 on a trade in.
I wouldn't hesitate on spending the money if I will notice extra warning time.
I like the STI but would enjoy GPS.
    Feeling a little confused.

No need to spend 400 bucks for good performance.

The standard Bel answer is to get a 955. For the price, I would agree.

So you think I will be able to tell a difference in the performance?

Bel 940 or 955, both excellent for the money, they use the same platform as the more costly Escort 8500, Bel Rx65, just less features. But coming from an older 845i it is like night and day.

Against your 845i, absolutely. I have a re-badged QL4G4M2 product and my X-50 blows it away. Does anyone know what receiver the 845 has? It may have been before the regulations came about. However, any modern Bel product that you purchase will blow your mind as far as range goes against your current model.

QL4G4M2 is the older M2 platform, good for its day, I am thinking the 845i is the M2, I had an older 846i ( I think an M2 platform too) and it was respectable in the performance dept., but nowhere near my 995 S7.
