I ripped out the Lidar detector board from an old Radioshack unit I have.
It has a 4 pin connector on it.
Ground, 8 volts, 5 volts, and signal.
The two voltages could easily be regulated down from 12V.
And the signal pin could probably be connected to an audio amplifier to drive a small speaker.

BTW in Australia (not WA) detectors of any sort are illegal.
As for a jammer, they'll throw the book at you for one of those, all 12 volumes at once!!!

So I have to make do with what little I have.
I will try to reverse engineer the Radioshack board, but it's not going to be easy.

I wonder if you also ripped out the part that leaks the LO emissions from the detector? If not the RDDs might find you..

X2^ on both counts. just turn off the jammers after you slow down and you will not be noticed at all

i do it all the time

Well what jammers would you guys recommend? I have heard some interesting things about the ZR4's but then again everyone says to switch to quads...

LIs are the best. Anything else is a money saving compromise.

Nope, I want to use the board I ripped out only.
It's a lidar stage only, so no LO emissions here.
    Cheers
