The current models are no more sensitive than the models made two years ago. In fact, happya$$'s 3 year old V1 beat every other V1 at the last GOL.

And my 3.684 matched Aoshi's Sti-R at the Alipine invitational. But I was not talking about sensitivity. We all know that POP on the V1 does not "increase" sensitivity. All it does it let it alarm to a signal, that's why I say that if they changed the firmware or software it could easily affect how it responds to certain signals short/weak signals.

"These guys don't give warnings". Very nice. I guess in these hard economic times, they can't be bothered to cut someone a break.
But my 9500ci alerted to the radar signal in my video. Escort RDs have the reputation, confirmed through testing, of not alerting to short duration signals that the V1 alerts to. V1 users have been harping on this for years. Yet the Escort alerted. Therefore the signal could not have been of short duration. Raw sensitivity had to have been the difference.
I wish MikeB would redo the test on the newest V1 and the 9500ci so we can really see raw sensitivity and if anything has changed. But I really doubt he has time, they are busy over there I bet.
*Hey MikeB if you are reading this, I will ship the Pro58 to you soon, it's in my dad's car right now. I will see him over the weekend and I'll ship it then.*
I love how they say giving speeding tickets is to help save lives, but according to this newsobserver.com | Ticket writing rises in a slump, study finds it seems like money is more of an issue of why they are giving out speeding tickets.
