would be nice if we had the option of tuning the radar bands here in the states.
I'm really looking forward to pitting the STi-R with tune able bands against the CI.

Doesn't matter, sometimes even I don't understand myself... it's complicated
@aradarnut
The most interesting features are K Pulsed Band (24.100-24.250 GHz) and Radar Detector Rejection (11.133-12.000 GHz).
First is a special mode for detection of Iskra, Berkut, Radius pulse radars (very short pulses, even 60ms) and second (RDR) is the same as STi-R has as far as I know. RDR OFF gives better response to low powered photoradars.
Notice also that X band has other range than X for US (10.475-10.575), Ku is different too (13.400-13.500) and POP is Ka only (K has that separate K PULSE mode).
Very interesting!
Very very interesting.... I guess it will have less false alerts from all the other rds out there.
Multaradar C is working on 24.100 too. I'm curious to see if this new feature K Pulsed Band will give earlier warning to such radar systems which is difficult to detect early because of the mode on working on low power.
When this new toy will be available?
I wonder if there will be a euro version of 9500i which will include these new feutures of X50 Euro and euro bands enabled... GPS is useful to ignore false alerts spots(automatic doors K band etc..)
I would like to read the owners manual to this RD.
