Default Thank you all Radar/Lidar Haters!!!

Hello everybody, been reading this board for 4 months now, since I decided to break the fear factor and get my very first RD, an S2 cause where i live having a cordless one (of course less powerfull than a corded one) is the smartest choice, since then I loaded my vehicle with a front plate laser shield and veil, both from Roy, this board, full of very experienced and friendly guys and girls, has been of great help in making me understand what's good and, especially, what's bad with all these RDs, Specters, etc.
Keep up the good work and God Bless You All.

Welcome to the board Road Warrior.

With a wireless rd you can take a walk or bike around your friendly neighbourhodd OPP detachment and drive them nuts!

Reading and learning a lot from you guys it's like going back to school, ragardless of your age it's never too late to educate yourself, especially when Uncle Sam wants your money on a regular basis...
Being on the road an average of 10 hrs/day, I've seen a lot, local cruisers, OPP/Quebec cruisers, State Troopers (speeding tickets in NY, NM and AZ), so far I've seen just one vehicle with a Specter stuck up by the rear mirror and that was a private car with a guy driving in civil clothes... and my S2 was in full force... I saw him AFTER he passed me, that was near Dixie and 401... personally I don't think our OPP focuses a lot, to be honest I think it's close to zero, to nail drivers with RDs, of course keep it in plain view and you really deserve to be pulled over and... the rest is history... personally I think the most dengerous area is the NY/Ont border where they can nail Americans unaware of the RD prohibition, maybe MI/Ont area, but after I bought mine from Montana I drove from Sarnia all the way to GTA, with my S2 in full force and at that time I didn't even now what Specter is and what it can do... but now I know, thanks to you guys, God Bless You All, and I can protect myself way better than before... in Oct I plan a 2-wk trip to Key West, FL, if no Katrina/Rita and the rest of Ocean *****es have any new intentions of war, I will cross VA and will see how things develop down there... I've done Ont to FL many times but now will be first time with an RD on board.

I agree with you, I have travelled NY and Ontario a lot and you see a lot of OPP at the border as well as the NY Troopers waiting for the "unsespecting canadians" to cross the border.

    Welcome to the board!!!

    Thank you.
Knowing very well Ont, don't use your RD within up to 30-50 miles into Ont from the MI border and up to 20-30 miles from Buffalo/Niagara Falls border... and to be honest with you way more Troopers on every Interstate than OPPs on 400 series or QEW, most of the time I see just one from Windsor to Toronto (300 miles)!!!
