Google maps time vs. actual time....

Google Maps: 3hrs 2Min
Actual: 2hrs 30min (Going the PSL)

GM: 1,501 mi – about 23 hours 39 mins
I can make it about 20, minus the woman.

Commute
GM: 47.2 mi – about 1 hour 2 mins
I can make it in about 45 with reasonable effort

I installed google maps on my phone few days ago and it usually overestimates drive times by 20-25%. When I check its recommended route its not always the shortest.

When i was young and dumb i did this trip with two other friends.

toronto to montreal - Google Maps

Actual time - 4HRS 05MIN
Average Speed - 180 KM/hr

I was in my Mustang my friend had his Skyline he was running a V1 and ZR3's and the last guy had a Ford Lightning. To this day no one can believe that we did it that fast.

x2, I didn't think it was a hot idea so I didn't post my exact trip, nor the exact times I go...

If they want to follow me on my route, more power to them.

Plus, its not like people on here get into a comfort zone and don't look for LEO's as far as they can see down the road just because they travel that road alot. I'm the opposite, I know all the ins and outs on my route so I check every single one.

Also, he could have just simply followed me to work if they thought I was going to fly off the handle once out of sight, and then my 'cover' or route would be 'blown'.
