Default Instant On Radar Used Often?

Ok, I have a 9500 ci, + veil that is my setup, my question is, how many cops have instant on radar functions on their guns. Is it something to not really worry about... and also, do you have to be skilled at it or is it something that is easy to do? is I/O used in central florida? Also I got a pop alert on my detector the other day, and I was wondering if instant on radar is exactly the same as pop, or they are different.

I am very unhappy because I just bought this 9500 ci unit, and veil. And theres so many different viewpoints. Some say 9500ci is the best rd. some say V1 is, and that the rampup sucks on the 9500 ci. Also I technically have the money for another rd or laser jammer, and I was wondering if i do decide to add more stuff which i should go with?

I almost feel like no matter what I get, or what anyone that knows about stealth gets will never actually be happy with their setups because the fact of the matter is u cant defend against I/O. And there will always be something they dont have...

just my thoughts... Sigh, im so unhappy now.

Every radar used today is capable of I/O.

Most definitely. There is no defense for a patient, well hidden LEO using I/O, except maybe using a rabbit.

    Nope, super easy.

    Yes.

Totally different. Only about 1% of the radar used in the USA is even capable of pop.

I own both and the 9500ci is definitely more sensitive, but the V1 reacts quicker. Overall, my 9500ci beats my V1 about 95% of the time.

The consensus ultimate setup is what I and a few others around here run, which is the 9500ci, V1 and quad LI. Depending on what you drive, I'd say go with the LI first to properly protect the rear of your car from laser, then add the V1.

This is a pay to play game, but the LEO will always have the element of surprise. No amount of money spent will assure you that you will never get another ticket. Well, not in this country anyhow. It is what it is. Nothing to get bummed about. With a well-rounded setup like mine, I beat LEOs a vast majority of the time, so when I do get caught, all the times I won will be of some comfort. The massive sensitivity of the 9500ci and proper use of a rabbit will usually protect you from I/O.

Don't worry - Be happy. You have one of the best RD made. Get all the protection you want or can afford. You can still get caught. BAM, IO, you are toast.

YES! I got a ticket a while ago by a cop using instant on. Had the bel 975r remote detector, the controller hidden in my ashtray.

Driving down the highway had the cruise set to 80. All of a sudden, detector went off like crazy, slammed on the breaks, but it wasn't quick enough. Saw a cop on the side of the road turn on his lights and came out and pulled me over. Wrote me for 76 in a 55. I guess i only had a chance to slow down 4mph before the thing gave him a reading...
