More Questons. :)
Ok i have like 3-4 more quests lol.
First if you buy the laser shield and veil do you put the laser shield on then put veil on top of that? for you licence plate does the lazer shield work better the veil?
Second, say your going down the highway at 85 MPH in a 65 and you have laser shield, veil, m-20 jammer, and the escort-x50, then a cop lasers you. Everything goes off and now, should you stomp on the brakes as hard as you can or quickly press the brakes but not to hard. If you stomp the brakes are you more likly to get a ticket? whats the best way to slow down as fast as possable w/o getting a ticket?
Last thing, i'm getting a mitsubishi evo 8 next summer and thats why i am going to invest in all this equipment. Should i buy the stuff now and put it into my curret car getting used to it or should i wait till next summer and maybe something new will come out?
Thanks for posts!
well if he does not get any puch through and you put on the brakes, you will be fine. An officer eather need to pace you in a car by following you or get an actual reading and be able to show you. If you get pulled over no matter if laser or radar kinly ask to see the reading on the speed device. They can recall the last couple of speeds.
I believe Veil reommends "veiling" both sides of the lasershield before you mount it.
Brake slow relative to the speed limit, then turn off the jammer so the cop can get a reading. He will lose his doubt if he is able to get a reading of some kind.
You may want to read about the AnitLaser 6 which performed (arguably) the best at the GOL tests. Otherwise, everything but the M-20 is a go.
Happy trails 8)
whats wrong with the M-20? it seems to have the highest rateing
Don't stomp on the brake. The nose dive of the car might get you a ticket as the heads of the jammer are now not aligned down the road. Just lightly apply the brake, slow to posted speed, and turn off the jammer ASAP.
Depending on the state you live in they may not be required to show you a speed. Where I live they are not required to show you a locked speed.
If you do apply Veil to a Laser Shield it may get really dark and difficult to read. The Laser Shield itself is rather milky in appearance to start with so I would say look at a Laser Shield and try it before you think about Veiling it.
Yes the M-20 is the best out there, right now.... but the AL6 has had very promising results in its testing so it might be a good thing to wait and see further tests and/or consumer comments on it as it may be considered a better product compared to the M-20. 8)
