    Default 2 Radar Detectors attached?

What was this that I saw?

I really can not descibe more than that, looked like modern sized units, sort of escort "like" but smaller depth wise, anyway, the "one" detector had the normal cord power supply leading to it, but then another detector mounted just above it was attached feeding power from the first detector via a small streight power cable (like the hard wire streight cords) note that this was not a RJ11 cord.

I am thinking that the other "box" could have been an add on laser detector, or some wacky jammer setup... does RMR (yuk) have any goofy setup like this?

I see RMR phazers taped to the bottom of radar detectors all the time. I bet this is what you saw.

When laser detectors first came out they were sold separately and not integrated into the radar detector. Someone did a piggyback connection onto the radar only detector but I don't remember what company it was. Maybe someone else will remember?

If you subscribe to RMR's newsletter, they came out with a limited time special for the next few weeks, something they are calling the Lynx.

It is their concealed detector with what appears to be two Mimics attached

Rocky Mountain Radar offers a Market Test unit to our newsletter members only. 1,000 total units are available and will be sold on a first-come basis. The LYNX can only be ordered by E-Mail or telephone (915-587-0307) and is only available through October, 2005. If you wish to order online, order the RMR-8RD and place the word LYNX in the promotion code.

    LOL, RMR (me shudders)

It actually was not the one pictured, but am happy to hear from everyone, that there are these "types" of units out there, and I am not seeing things.
