k ban 24.149?

does any one no what k ban 24.149 relates to. i got an alert while driveing on the highway very strong alert there was a van but no flashes there was a few so hard to tell if it was speed camera van.

i so hope this isnt my first speeding ticket maybe i got nabbed

K band is 24.150 +/- 100 MHz, so anything from 24.050-24.250 is K band.

Unlike Ka, you can't determine the make/model of the radar by its frequency. They are all tuned at the factory to 24.150.

Can't tell from the frequency with K band unfortunately, but if you suspect it was a speed camera you may be able to fight it. Hopefully it was a nearby motion sensor

Where are you located? You can look at the regional info threads and see if K band is being used in your area.

I'm thinking it's a kid shooting a bushnell sports gun at traffic. My daughter does that sometimes. Since it's stationary only if she shoots oncoming traffic she can get 100+mph readings.

It should read as a strong K band signal with little ramp.

Kids these days have so many gadgets to play with while in a car. Bushnell radar guns, Ipods, MP3 players, DVD players, electronic games, et cetera.

The most fun which me and my brother and cousins had on the road was trying to see how many different state license plates we could spot.
