Default Laser 904nm, 33 MHz Bandwidth; What does it bandwidth mean??

Bel and Escort list laser detection at 904nm, 33 MHz.

I know what the 904nm is, but what's with the 33MHz Bandwidth? Lidar guns operate on 150-230 Hz. Does that mean it takes 33,000,000 samples per second?

I think they mean the channel width of a LIDAR unit is 33 MHz.

904nm = 331,628,825 MHZ, so they're saying that the "carrier" covers about 331,628,809 MHz to 331,628,841 MHz.

They're probably just reiterating the operating specs of some LIDAR gun, since I'm pretty sure the detector can receive outside of this range (remote control etc)

The "150-230 Hz" you're talking about is probably the pulses per second, at least I think the ProLaser is in this range...

The Escort Redline is like +- 13nm. Is the bandwidth so high for it ?
