Default Should I go ahead with the buy?

I am about to purchase a LI Quad and a V1. I have heard they are going to be interfaceable in the near future via a remote display and an interface cable.

My question is: Would it be wise to wait for the cable to become available until I purchase my equipment? Or should I go ahead and buy them, then have the cable overnighted later?

I'm not interested in waiting more than a week for the cable to come available. So if anyone in the know has a release date or close estimation, that would be great.

    Any help would be appreciated.

LI-USA website. 7.0.9 apparently allows integration.

I just don't see anything exciting about the interface. Doesn't really give you anything but the addition of voice alerts. A Cheetah does that, and a lot more, and does it better.

I never really considered buying a cheetah.

You would reccomend it, I suppose? Could you (or anyone knowledgable) give a quick features list please?

You asked for a features list. I guess I qualify as knowledgeable

I put a post with the feature list on here: Cheetah C100 and GPSmirror features list

Whether you need one or not depends on where you live and how much of an issue photo enforcement cameras are.

I would go ahead myself, I don't really want my V1 integrated with the LI, so why wait.

I don't really see why someone would really want the Cheetah GPS mirror. Granted it has a nice feature list but it comes with a hefty price tag for what it really does. Not to mention the fact that it looks gawdy (That's probably just because im obsessed with keeping a clean cabin with nothing that looks cheap... but whatever)

but anyway, I would go ahead and get the products and enjoy having the ultimate protection =)
