Adaptive cruise false?

Is this one of the cars that causes laser falses? The V1 indicated laser from the rear right after I passed this car:

good video - documenting v1 falsing to rear laser. I had that happen to me and it scared the hell out of me.... till i realize after looking in my RVM.... Absolutely hate it

It looked like an Infiniti FX35, or its larger brother FX45. Both are notorious for causing laser falses on V1.

A couple of days ago, I had a cop friend of mine in the car with me and suddenly, my LI starts alerting and firing, and the V1 and Cheetah Mirror start alerting laser. He was all excited, thinking he was going to get to see me jam someone. But the LI alerted "Traffipatrol XR", so I knew it was a friggin' Infinity, and sure enough, one had just pulled up behind me.

Yeah for some reason the FX does it the most.

It was near an overpass and I had just cleared those trees on the left so at first I thought I was cooked!

I had a driver a few miles ahead who was calling the bears out...

Not to be a stickler, but the only difference in size between an FX35 and FX45 is engine displacement.

Haha, my 9500ix is so much weak on laser compared to the V1 that I've never had a false in the 6 months I've owned it. It never alerted when I was shot at over 900ft and stopped. In fact I've only had one laser alert since owning the detector. I couldn't care less about laser although it makes a cool sound on Escorts.

I had one of those following me on I-95 that kept falsing me. I figured it out by getting a truck in between us and it would quit until he moved and gave the Infiniti a clea shot again. What an annoyance.
I wonder if the jammers mess up their cruise control? And also if someone put jammers on an Infiniti would the cruise also mess with their own jammers?
