    Default More Radar Polution....

I was on my way to work and got an initial blip of K band alert that went on and off for more than 3 miles. I thought that was very impressive until I got closer to the source and it started ramping up to 7 bars. I looked around for LEO and jsut could not find him. At this point I was starting to pass this minivan and noticed a yellow light going off the side mirror - LED. This was day time but was visible and blinking which caught my attention. The V1 started with it's arrows lit forward and finally sideways as I pass the minivan and to be exact, it was a Chrysler Town and Country. Looks like more and more automobile companies are poluting the highways now a days with false radar alert.

Just want to let you guys know about what I found out lately.

That is what I like about spec mode. You know if it is a false from a car. Mercedes Benz transmit around 24.2 GHz if they have that cruise control.

Ya, I really miss the spec mode. BTW, most radar units are +/- 100Mhz and can drift between 24.050 - 24.250 Ghz.

The red zones are where you should drive for 5 minutes so the driver gets tired of the thing and turns it off

Adjusting your mirrors properly would be a much cheaper solution.

Ford is in the process of producing radar ( not lidar) cruise control. Lincoln already is equipped on certain models

    co-sign.

I wouldn't be placing any bets against it being a member of our finest, when I'm 20+ over the PSL and it's showing 24.2.

    I'm still hitting the brakes.
