Good us, bad for them. You should leave a post-it note on their window and write the word "level".
Sub-par range is good for them, and bad for us. I'd rather them have their guns levelled and blasting full power so we could receive them farther away.

I wonder if they actually mounted it that way for that reason to lower the chances of detection. Wait that is giving the cops alot of credit, I have feeling Billy Bob just bolted it to the dash and started writing tickets.
Some cops will grab the antenna and physically turn it when they are doing a tuning fork test, or will rotate the antenna to allow them to run radar sitting perpendicular to the road. I imagine their skills in properly re-orienting the antenna afterward is the biggest problem there.
