Basically the radar bands are only X and K. There are lots of falses, since this is of course, Japan. They also use a lot of induction-loop cameras, so many RD have a GPS built in.
A lot of the detectors like the one you posted are solar powered. I remember Fox had a RD that was solar-powered here as well. The problem is you need solar power to run the RD, so you need it in a place that gets sunlight. So, no go for a 900 Turbo. Maybe if you angle the solar panel a bit. I remember a guy on ebay selling them out of Toronto, that isn't good.
