Hey, there wouldn't be any New York drivers in here willing to answer a quick question for me, would there?
I'm taking a roadtrip to Rochester tomorrow with some people in my friend's brand new Cobra (lucky f***er), and I plan on bringing my RD... So the question is this: I know that New York, like a handful of other states has an "obstruction of windshield law" that essentially prevents you from mounting a RD on the windshield. (I have a Whistler 695se, so I mount it low and centered) I kind of figured this is a "gotcha" type of deal that is just in effect as yet another way cops can ticket you, but how often do they actually enforce this?
As of right now, I plan on keeping it low, and popping it off whenever we pick up any activity (I'm expecting it with the tri-state crackdown on speeding)
Thanks for the help
