Yet another GOL test

Hey everyone. Just got off the phone with happy@$$ and we both agree we should attempt to tests ALL KA frequencies against the top end detectors. yes, it will be a small test, but we are all curious to know how all the detectors do against the latest KA frequencies.

Nothing is offical as of yet, steve or jimbonzzz will have the final word...

CAn u guys pleaseeeeeee also test the detector's ability to detect laser from the rear under real-world circumstances? Particulary when mounted low on the dash, or up on the dash, and for the V1 and X50. I really would like to know these results.

And using regular small car, i.e Sethy's one, VS a bigger SUV.

We are going to keep this mini meaning simple. We all feel shortchanged since we never tested out the other two KA frequencies. This is all that we will do. We will test the V1 1.8, V1 1.7 (if Boomerman is kind enough to loan it to us), Escort 8500, Escort 8500 X50 rev 5, and the RX65. We are probably going to sneak in an X band test as well to see how the V1 1.7 fairs since it has a bigger horn. I need to touch basis with Jim first before anything is final

Thanks for running this "mini" test.
(it aint so mini if your leadfooting and the po po's are hiding ahead, painting cars w/one of the untested KA's)

Speaking of KA, what might causes KA false on X50 rev 5??

Thoughts? and/or is there a link to previous discussion?

KA falses on the x50 can come from other leaky detectors.

As for doing rear laser detection tests, I am sure that can be arranged. That wouldnt take up to much time on the fact we wouldnt have to be testing jammers :shock:

all man i can not wait for these results on this future test!!!!!

:wink: thank you GOL for everything you guys are doing.dont forget to tape it on dvd i want to buy one if you do this.even though if it will be short test.
