Default Bushnell speedster K band gun

I bought one of these bushnell speedster guns to clock my sons rc cars. This is a K band gun it has a range of about 1100 ft on full size cars, and rc cars out to about 200 ft. I tested this gun with my escort 4600, I had my son shoot my at about 300yds. we had 2 way radios as I turned the corner at 300yds. I Instructed him to shoot, I got hit with a full warning of K band and he got a reading of 15mph. Another test I performed was a quick trigger from in the car and the escort 4600 never alerted. I will try this test with the new Pro 78se with pop on and off just to see what happens. When I tested this gun on the highway standing on the side near a strip mall I was able to get readings on cars as far as I could see them. The readings popped up instantly. One fast trigger pull instant reading I can't believe how fast this gun is, and the range is unbelievable for an $80.00 gun. This gun also scans and locks in the highest speed when the trigger is held. I even clocked a dart being thrown at a dart board 21 mph LOL.

Great radar gun especially if a Cobra radar detector user starts falsing our high end V1,BelEscort, or Whistler rd's on ka band which is starting to get very annoying. I smoke Cobras w/ my Bushnell all the time.

I've got that exact same gun. I like the Bushnell for RD testing. It's very low power, and low distance, and therefore is a challenge for the detectors to pick up. A Pro 78 se would struggle against it as both my V1 and 9500ix have trouble picking it up from long distances too.

I have one of those guns also. A great little gadget IMO. Its very fast to get a lock on cars from what I've seen and the range is excellent for the price.

When I was buying it originally, I didn't expect to get something that good for the money TBH but I was pleasantly surprised .

    X2

Nothing better in the world then see a high end car with a cobra slam on the brakes after being hit with K-Band. As i sit from behind laugh my balls off.

Get ready to have some fun with it. In addition to slamming cobra's I use it to clear the left lane. I was using the gun as soon as last night. I was sitting around a turn with an stupidly low speed-limit with just my parking lights on. Its hilarious to watch a line a cars all light up their brake lights.

ADVICE: If you start getting readings in the 80's and 90's all the sudden change the batteries, even if the battery indicator isn't on.

I have seen this video a while back. In that video when they place the radar gun right next to the RD it signals K-Band. But i was testing this and i cant get that close to it without it changing to ka-band some times i get multiple signals from it as well.

His 9500i missed every QT pull in that video.

Good point. I had not noticed that but I didn't see him turning it off, now that you mention it .

I should note that my V1 missed a few times when I was deliberately trying to QT it fast enough to do so. That was with POP off but with POP on, it is pretty much impossible to do so.
