In a pure form, like in your salt shaker, yes. But that dirty, grimy, road salt gunk on your plate and headlights is not very reflective at all.

Anything to damper the retroreflective surface will work.

It's made of pretty tough plastic, a little snow or salt shouldn't hurt it. Heck, a layer of salt will probably make it even more effective.

Id cry if my car was that dirty...its been raining here on and off for 2 weeks and I think I have washed my car 12 times....i hate a dirty car....if i can get 2 days without rain I am happy..as soon as it stops its cleaned agaon :roll: :roll: :roll: ops:

ive gotta say im with stalker on this one. i hate my car being dirty. even after i go mudding i go right home and wash it. i mean i may be the one getting the ticket, but by god im going to look good doing it .
