Can the power cord for Escort/Bel work for V1?

Hey Guys,

Sorry for this stupid question but I need to know whether the power cord for the newer Escorts or Beltornics work for the V1?

I mean don't they all the phone type ends?

Has anyone tried it?

My STI Driver cable works with my V1, and the other way around. But the CD and the alert for the bel do not work.. obviously.

As long as it's a phone cable, it should work.

Supplies power only, cant program or change settings on the V1. The V1 cord however works fine for Belscorts

CD = V1 Concealed Display, it won't work with the Bel

Alert = The Bel red flashing alert / mute button on the cig lighter.

Just for clarification, I was actually referring to the direct wire from Beltronics and not the regular smartcord.

Not True!!!!! I have run my V1 off my Escort Hardwire kit and I can program and change settings but I have to be pressing the buttons on the V1

The Escort mute button though won't mute my V1

Nor will the my Concealed display funtion with my Bel v995 when using my Bel plugged into my V1 hard wire kit. I just have to use the buttons on the detector directly

The cord will work, but you won't be able to use the mute button on the V1.
