Keep in mind that if you're going to get the V1, a Bel Laserpro 905 won't work with it, but the rest will.

seems like majority of you guys say V1. sweet deal...is it good at picking up X band though comapred to the Escort x50'/ Bel rx65 since im in Jersey? And where can i order a V1 as well as a laser jammer? The thing i love about the V1 is the arrows but i am kind of skeptical...about what i hear from people that it tends to false a lot and this gets annoying?

The V1 does false just like every other RD on the market. Since the V1 "might" false more it is due to its greater sensitivity. The V1 has a BIGGER and BETTER nose then the others and therefore will smell more for that reason. GO FOR THE V1 all else is a waste of money. This is my opinion. I could NEVER live with out the ARROWS.

You can only get the V1 online at VR website.

it's loud and so is the others.....all detectors in the top 3 have great range for X-band my BEL has consistently given me 1-1.5mile range on I-80 of instant and constant on radar Any of the top detectors have amazing X-band range since it's the easiest to pick up....

I feel better knowing that I have Laser jammer for the 1 time i ran into a NJ trooper shooting laser and i was pushing 85-90

Alright, well i know that the V1 is best for highway driveing out of the top 3, but how is it for driveing in the city/small towns comapred to the x50/belrx65 in terms of picking up signals?

The V1 will pick up anything, and I do mean anything. That can be very good, but it can also be annoying. I have limited experience with the V1, but in the experience I have with it, it falsed maybe 6-7 times in 2 days. Anything else will false a little bit less, but not by much--especially if POP is on (it was on the V1).

I purchased an X50 for two reasons: first, I worked at Best Buy and could get it for just over half of the listed price, and second, I didn't get to ride with the V1 until later that summer. While I don't think that the V1 blows everything else away, as some would have you believe, I do think that it's the best detector on the market today (and I don't see Bel's STi, which I honestly doubt will even crack "Big Three" status because of its high price and limited appeal, passing it), and if you've got the jack to throw down on it, definitely do so. An X50 or RX65 will do you just fine, but the V1 is better than both of them.

I loved the arrows when i used my friends V1 but i decided to save my money for a jammer and bought a cheaper detector wit hthe performance of the other top 3 detectors

Since you already placed the order for the V1, try it out for 30days and if you don't like it return it for another detector....I have a feeling you will fall in love for the V1 and you won't want to go to a detector without the arrows....

I plan to get the V1 but this only after i get my jammer tested against a lidar gun so i can get to know how bad my punch through is and if i need a better jammer or if not I am going with a V1
