    Default Filtering; RX65 vs V1

We all know that the Big 3 tend to cause controversy when it comes to which is 'better' in detecting, but my question here is. Which one will be quieter in the city? I hear the RX65 is awesome at filtering, and the V1's L mode cuts quite a bit of K band off when it's weak. I live in a densly populated city so when I'm not highway driving I get a lot of K band falses. City mode doesn't affect K band, AutoScan doesn't affect K band, and Highway won't touch anything  . So my question is, how can I get the best detection, but be able to filter the K band (I am aware of the 'losing sensitivity' but most city areas are 35-45mph and I wont go 10mph over, so a slight lose of sensitivity is acceptable. It would be great if the RX65 had a feature like the older BELs that muted lower K band alerts, maybe if they reached level 3 or 4 would be perfect. Can someone help?

I don't know if you can do much about K band, but I believe the RX65 has the best filtering out of the Big 3

nothing can really reduce k-bands falses....you could try autoscan but i haven't heard anything about that limiting K-falses

    Main;y automute helps alot

Well mostly to my experience AutoScan doesn't do a thing. But I hear the V1 is better at filtering K band? Something about the big L mode and that it will filter weaker K band signals? Is this true?

Doesn't the new valentine one's have the option to mute K-band until it goes past 3 bars and also until it goes past 6 bars?

I have seen emails from BEL saying the autoscan does filter K band... But there is no true way to know

The reason the rx65 and x50 is a lot quieter in the city then the v1 isnt because of its 50 foot detection difference, its that the antennas are very narrow, where as the v1's is very wide.

That is exactly what V1 does with K band when you program section (7)
With factory X band settings or reprograming section (7) for K band automuting, (logic mode (l) enables all LED's and the muted volume lever but regular volume will be disabled until you break a time or LED threshold)
You also have an option that I use that will totally silence K band volume only, and still see the LED's from the drone K band radar hitting you in the front and back if you choose.
(Advanced logic mode (L) disables all LED's & volume unless you break a time or LED threshold)
As far as filtering K band without reprogramming it some say the new ones filter it in a logic mode but my older 1.7 will not filter K band in any mode unless I reprogram section (7)
