Thread: Some Advice

    Default Some Advice

Okay law breakers, here is a lesson learned from one of your own that I had the pleasure of pulling over recently.

If you are going to speed because you have counter measures please make sure you avoid the following.

    1. If you claim to have a "jammer" have at least a working knowledge of what one is so a layman like myself doesn't call you out on it.
He argued that my LASER couldn't have gotten his vehicle, a 1996 Honda Civic that was in the process of being "souped up", because of his jammer. I went to the front of the vehicle to look for his heads and there were none. All I saw was a very old Escort mounted(pointed up) suckered to his front window.

    2. And this is most important, have a valid Drivers License, there are 50 states pick one, have valid insurance for the vehicle that you are driving(he handed me expired insurance for another vehicle) and don't have $2500.00 worth of traffic warrants for all the above plus speeding.

We don't catch the smart ones.........

"Do I take care of my $2,500 in tickets or rice out my 15 year old commuter box?"

You surely didn't catch a smart one.

We have had members speak of some sales staff and I have found some sales BS from ESCORTs vendors (as you well know) that leads people into the belief that RDs are "protectors against Laser" enforcement.

Having drivers frequenting your area with no DL or Insurance and an attitude to boot gives the rest of us a fairly good chance of cruisiing through your area untouched, Fritter.

I don't have alot of sympathy for people who drive without insurance or have a suspended license. I hope you made that guy at least walk home or even better took him to jail. Also why would somebody admit to having jammers, I would just take the ticket tell the officer to have a nice day and call a good traffic lawyer.

Please don't call him one of us.

And why do you call us law breakers, how many laws do you break each day on & off duty? Be honest now.

*waves his valid insurance card at you*

Not one of us, he sounds like an idiot who shouldn't even be on the road. What did you charge him with?
