Default Anybody used any of the Bushnell radar guns?

I was considering purchasing a Bushnell Speedster II radar gun at a local retailer for $99.00. Does anyone have any experiance with these units. I understand that they transmit in the K Band, and are supposed to be able to track a vehicle at about 1000ft. I am looking for a handheld unit that will not cost me an arm and a leg as I have other hobbies that are painful to the checkbook. Also if anyone could suggest a radar gun to mount in a vehicle for testing purposes. I am willing to spend quite a bit more for a more permanent solution as I will be able to use it for radar run's this winter. For you people in the southern states...To see how fast a snowmobile can go on a lake in a 1/4-1/2 mile.

I've used the bushnell radar gun and found it to be a great little radar gun. I had trouble clocking cars at 1000 feet though.

    Default For............

    $100, its decent enough.

I have one. BE REALLY careful of the bottom as the cap is very easy to break, then the batteries don't stay in without duct tape. Cheezy.

Treat it like gold and its a great radar gun.

    Golf Course, cars.

    Easy on the trigger.

Their customer service could use some improvement, although the do sell parts on line. Its been 6 months I've waited for the replacement cap.
